Georgia Republican Senators Propose
States Rights Protection for Health Care
Georgia State Senate Republicans are fighting for Georgians' right to choose their health care. While Democrats in Washington are proposing a public health care plan and to mandate health care rather than providing free-market solutions, Georgia leaders are proposing a Constitutional Amendment to protect citizens from another government take-over.
The Health Care States Rights Protection Constitutional Amendment
We hold these rights to be true:
I. Every citizen or business has the right to CHOOSE their own health care plan or system.
II. Every citizen or business has the right to pay directly for health care services.
III. Every citizen or business has the right to not participate at all in any health care plan.
IV. Every health care provider has the right to receive payment directly from patients.
V. Every health care provider has the right to allow personal health care accounts as well as any other lawful health care plan.
VI. No citizen or business can be punished by ANY government for non-participation in any health care plan.
VII. No citizen or business can be punished by ANY government for paying directly for health care services rather than going through a public or private insurance program.
VIII. No health care provider can be punished by ANY government for receiving direct payments from patients for lawful services.
